Walk in Brueton Park

Sunday 27 Oct 2019

by Lewisfuggie

Updated: Sunday 27 Oct

This is one of our 2019 Brueton Park Walks (it is close to the kennels)

Meet from 10.30 for 11.00 start

(If you are able to take a kennel dog on the walk, please contact the kennels on 0121 782 7702 a week prior to the event)

We are hoping that as many friends of Greyhound Trust Solihull as possible will be able to join us for this quarterly event to promote awareness of Greyhounds as Pets.

The walk will start at Brueton Car Park, Warwick Road and the walk will be around the park, hopefully meeting the hundreds of visitors that will be out and about at this time of year.

We will round the lake and through through the park from one side to the other (Solihull Town Centre end)

The walk should be of approx 90 mins. The entire walk will be on paved areas (so no need for any wellies!!)

Refreshments available from the Parkridge Centre coffee shop in the park, which is approx half way round, so those of you or your dogs dont have to do the full walk if you dont want as we will go past the Coffee Shop and then return back past it on our way back to the car park.

Everyone is welcome whether you have a dog or not. All breeds are also welcome. ALL dogs must be kept on the lead whilst on the organised walk. Thank You. Please also bring your muzzle with you, if you have a dog that gets excited by small dogs etc. Thanks

Thank you to everyone who joined us today, we had 16 dogs. All the dogs were very well behaved. My arms are surely tired after Tigers enthusiasm!

Looking forward to the next walk in November! Xx

We had a lovely walk around Brueton park this morning. What a difference from yesterday's horrible weather. Today we had lovely autumn sun making for a greyt walk. I think Tiger enjoyed himself experiencing the big wide world and all the sights on offer. Sure he will sleep well later. Reckon Jess's arms are probably a couple of inches longer now xx

Sadly due to the expected thunderstorms tomorrow. We have cancelled the Brueton dog walk tomorrow.

I shall have a look at my works rota and see when I can book another one. Hopefully very soon! X
